Beginning

A deafening growl resounded through the skeletal forest, ringing ferocity, fraught with malicious intent. "That is no child of mine." An icy tone boomed from vocals, emeralds glinted within dark sockets, focused upon the female, who cowered under the powerful presence that he emanated. Her eyes pleaded, a protective stance shifting over the last of the young, protected and nurtured within a motherly womb. "Please Krane..." The sweetest of melodies was interrupted by sheer anger. "If you or that half breed cross my path, I shall end your miserable existence." The pups fate hung in the balance, uncertain and unknown, spelled out by the domineering beast that turned and melted into the shrouding shadows.
